Natalie Greenslade
Hi, I'm Natalie - BANT Registered Nutritionist® and I founded GingerGreen Nutrition to empower individuals to improve their health and change their long-term risk factors. My aim is to help individuals reach their health goals and feel great, enabling them to live their lives with energy and vibrancy.
I have extensive experience working with clients on a 1:1 basis, within the workplace and in community or group settings.
My own experience of health has been a bit bumpy, following a lifetime of disruptive hormonal health including endometriosis and fibroids. Whilst lucky enough to have been diagnosed, the only treatment option offered at the time was surgery.
Whilst hormones are very complex, there is much we can do through nutrition and lifestyle - and this has led me to have a particular interest in hormonal health and especially the transition into perimenopause and menopause.
I also have a family history of various cancers and this has further led to my interest in the fascinating area of nutrigenomics. As a result, I offer nutrigenomic testing as a preventative, proactive and personalised approach to health.
I have always been interested in health and wellbeing, having taught nutrition & cooking skills and delivering the NHS National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP). This has provided me with a wealth of experience working with and coaching individuals and groups.
After four years of nutrition training at the world renowned Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London, I qualified as a Registered Nutritional Therapist, enabling me to work on a 1:1 basis with clients with a range of health conditions. I continue to expand my expertise and knowledge in a range of health issues with extensive CPD training.
As a fully insured Registered Nutritionist® with the British Association of Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) I am regulated and governed by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I am also a member of the British Menopause Society due to my particular interest in women's health.
